Iran shares data on loaded and unloaded cargo in Amirabad port

About 194,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Amirabad port in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 21, 2020 through January 19, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, 27,800 tons of cargo were loaded and 166,000 tons were unloaded in the port during the reporting month.

“Within the 10th month, 26,300 tons of cargo were exported and about 161,000 tons were imported through the Amirabad port,” the statistics said.

In addition, 1,100 tons of cargo were loaded and 4,840 tons were unloaded in this port for transit, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, over the mentioned period, 396 tons of cargo were loaded and 324 tons were unloaded in the Amirabad port for other purposes.

“So, 153,000 tons of essential products, 5,330 tons of metal products, 22,100 tons of construction and mining materials, 567 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Amirabad port for the 10th month,” the statistics said.

Moreover, 4,140 tons of chemicals, 1,700 tons of leather products, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 597 tons of container products, 7,030 tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded in the port during the same period, the statistics said.

As reported, a total of 10.8 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 10th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.32 million tons were unloaded and 4.55 million tons were loaded.
