As much as 61.2 percent of cargo transportation in Azerbaijan through the ‘Single Window’ system were carried out by air transport in April 2021, which is 11.6 percent more compared to March 2021, Trend reports citing the ‘Export Review’ of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
In the reporting month, 19.8 percent of cargo transportation was carried out by road transport through the ‘Single Window’ system, which is 24.4 percent less compared to a month earlier, said the CAERC.
At the same time, the share of cargo transportation by railway transport amounted to 16.2 percent of the total cargo transportation in the specified period, an increase of 11.2 percent over the month.
As reported, the share of cargo transportation by other typed of transport made up 2.8 percent of the total transportation volume, a growth of 1.7 percent in monthly terms.
The value of the total export of non-oil products from Azerbaijan in April 2021 through the ‘Single Window’ system amounted to $17.1 million.
