The volume of cargo transported in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan amounted to 5.8 million tons from January through May 2021, Trend reports citing the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, this is 0.4 percent more as compared to the same period of 2020.
In the first 5 months of 2020, the volume of cargo transportation in the autonomous republic amounted to 5,804 tons.
The GDP of Nakhchivan in the specified period increased by 0.4 percent on annual basis and totaled over 1.02 billion manat ($600 million).
