Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, met with the Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, Trend reports referring to the Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The parties noted the importance of further expanding strategic and friendly relations between the two countries, stressed the importance of developing infrastructure, including ports, free economic zones, road, rail and sea transport.
During the meeting, the importance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project was noted.
The Georgian ambassador said that for this transport artery to be fully loaded, joint presentations in different countries are needed in order to raise awareness of the corridor and fully reflect the potential of this route.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness for close cooperation.
