Passenger traffic at Tbilisi International Airport is recovered by 38 percent in the first eight months of 2021 compared to pre-COVID-19 pandemic 2019, Trend reports via the TAV Georgia, operator of Tbilisi International Airport.
As reported, the Tbilisi Airport served a total of 640,353 passengers in the last three months (from June through August).
According to the TAV Georgia, Tbilisi International Airport returned back 62 percent of passengers in Tbilisi as of August 2021 compared to the same period of 2019.
As for the airlines, 33 air companies are operating at Tbilisi International Airport, which fulfill regular and charter flights.
Batumi International Airport returned back 75 percent of passengers in the first eight months of 2021, while the growth totaled 6 percent in August 2021 compared to the same period of 2019.
According to the TAV Georgia, 18 air companies are operating at Batumi International Airport, which has served 276,597 passengers in 3 months (from June through August).
