Volume of loaded/unloaded cargo Iran’s Noshahr port increases

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) increased by 1 percent in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (June 23 through August 22, 2021), compared to the 4th month (June 22 through July 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 68,300 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month, of which, 641 tons were loaded and 67,700 were unloaded.

So, 641 tons of cargo were exported and about 67,600 tons were imported through Noshahr port in the fifth month. Also, 57 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transit.

About 64,000 tons of essential products, 57 tons of equipment, vehicles, spare parts, 4,230 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 5th month of the current Iranian year.

As reported, about 11.3 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fifth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.98 million tons were loaded and 5.29 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 9.8 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
