BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 30
By Sadraddin Agdzhaev - Trend:
New standards and approaches for the distribution of "permit forms" have been formed in Azerbaijan, Deputy Secretary General of the Association of International Automobile Carriers of Azerbaijan (ABADA) Kanan Gurbanov told Trend.
The process of distributing "permit forms" in Azerbaijan will be controlled not only by state bodies, but also by carriers-businessmen included in ABADA, he said.
The process of distribution of "permit forms" has formed a more transparent environment, new standards, and approaches, he added.
"To create a completely transparent environment for the distribution of forms, decisions will be made not only by the State. The signed memorandum between our association and the Ministry of Transport is the basis for establishing direct communication in the transfer of initiatives and proposals," Gurbanov said.
"When distributing the "permit forms", we worked out the equal terms for relations between countries, statistical data and economic priorities to achieve the necessary and equal number of forms in accordance with the needs of local carriers. As an association, taking part in international commissions, we talk about the needs of local carriers and involve the State in the process. For almost four months since the agreement between ABADA and the Ministry of Transport was reached, we have been able to provide a more transparent distribution environment, as well as a number of new mechanisms," Gurbanov said.
