The total number of cars produced and imported by Kazakhstan in September 2021 grew, Trend reports referring to the local statistics.
According to the statistics, this indicator amounted to 14,456 units, up by 60.5 percent and 23.9 percent on annual basis and in monthly terms.
Besides, in the first nine months of 2021, 130,192 cars were totally produced and imported, which is 83.9 percent more than in the same period of last year.
The production number of these vehicles in September this year amounted to 7,494 (an increase of 54.9 percent and 9.4 percent compared to September 2020 and August 2021), while imports – 6,962 (a rise of 67 percent and 44.4 percent, respectively).
Meanwhile, 1,416 cars of the total number (130,192) were exported (an increase of 2.6 times and a decrease of 17.5 percent on annual basis and in monthly terms, respectively), while the remaining 13,040 sold on the domestic market (up by 54.2 percent compared to September last year and 31 percent compared to August 2021).
The number of cars exported from January through September 2021 amounted to 7,563 units (an increase of 61.4 percent compared to 9M2020).
