Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi has announced that Iran and Qatar plan to launch regular shipping lines between the two countries' ports, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
Ghasemi made the remark during the meeting with his Qatari counterpart to talk over the development of transport, commercial and economic ties between the two countries.
In addition, the two sides agreed to make more use of Qatari commercial airlines over Iranian sky, Ghasemi stated.
While in Qatar, Ghasemi visited trade and commercial ports and also airports of Qatar.
The minister also said Iran has tried to pave suitable ground for enhancing bilateral relations.
