Increasing the volume of traffic by 2 times along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route is possible, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Kairbek Uskenbayev announced during a meeting of the Operational Headquarters for anti-crisis measures under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Trend reports citing the ministry.

The Kazakh Ministry held meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia in order to ensure the transportation of the forecast volumes on March from 9 through 10 this year, Kairbek Uskenbayev also said.
