BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. The number of passengers transported through Iranian airports increased by 30 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, over 29.4 million passengers were transported through Iranian airports within last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, the figure stood at about 22.7 million.
