BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. The volume of cargo transported through Iranian airports increased by 50 percent, in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
In total, more than 29,000 tons of cargo were transported through Iranian airports for the first month, according to the statistics.
Meanwhile, in the same month of last Iranian year, the figure stood at over 19,400 tons.
