BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 28. Turkey's Port of Aliaga received 1,990 ships from January through April 2022, out of which 529 flew the flag of Turkey, and 1,461 – flags of other countries, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
Turkish ports received 4,473 vessels in April 2022. Some 1,359 ships were flying Turkey's flag, while 3,114 ships were under the flags of other countries.
In the first four months of 2022, Turkish ports accepted 16,424 ships, out of which 4,892 were under the flag of Turkey, whereas 11,532 were flying the flags of other countries.
As of 2021, ports of Turkey received 51,199 ships, including 15,120 under the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 vessels received by Turkish ports flew the flags of other countries.
