BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Machinery and equipment, cars, trailers and semi-trailers worth 167.8 million manat ($98.7 million) were manufactured in Azerbaijan, from January through April 2022, the State Statistics Committee told Trend.
According to the committee, this is almost twice, or 82.4 million manat ($48.4 million) higher than the same period in 2021.
Some 169 tractors were produced in Azerbaijan during the reporting period (162 from January through April 2021) and 710 cars (508 from January through April 2021).
The production of other cars in the reporting year increased by 4.4 times, trailers and semi-trailers - by 2.5 times, machinery and equipment - by 30.8 percent.
