BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. A total of 46,972 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through June 2022, which is 35.8 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in June alone amounted to 10,552 cars, which also is 69.5 percent more than in June 2021.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 3,862 vehicles (539 in June), specialized vehicles – 120 (13 in June).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in June 2022 amounted to 33, which is 47.1 percent less than in June 2021. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 280 vehicles, which is 0.6 percent more than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 121,620 during six months of 2022 and 10,610 in June 2022, which is 2.6 times and 19.2 percent more respectively than during the same period of 2021.
A total of 15 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over six months of 2022.
