BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. The Permanent Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission (PS IGC) TRACECA (Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor) is working to create more favorable conditions for cargo transportation in the region, the TRACECA press service told Trend.
According to the press service, the transport component in the cost of goods and the time of their delivery will be an important factor in this direction.
"To achieve this goal, the efforts of all TRACECA member countries, including Uzbekistan, which is actively involved in the study of a number of initiatives of the PS IGC, including international ones, such as multilateral permit system, e-TIR [electronic international road transport], and e-CMR [electronic consignment note]," the press service said.
In the process of establishing a supply chain, the joint efforts of all participants, from government agencies to carriers, are important, added the press service.
