TEHRAN, Iran, October 17. The Iranian government has provided 420 million euros credit from its foreign funds assigned by a Chinese bank for the construction of line 2 in the Tabriz subway system, said Tabriz MP Mohammad Reza Mirtajodini, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The credit was allocated from a Chinese bank for the construction of subway line 2 in Tabriz which would be 22, 4 kilometers and includes 20 stations, he noted.
The mayor of Tabriz is pursuing finishing incomplete civil projects in the city by credit and Tabriz MPs are also supporting the municipality's actions in the parliament.
China’s railway giant CRRC Corps has previously signed a deal with Iran to supply subway wagons to the Iranian cities of Ahvaz, Tabriz and Shiraz.
