BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 11. Approximately 6.47 million tons of cargo were transported from Iran’s Kermanshah Province in the west of the country, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), Director General for the Roads and Transportation Department of Kermanshah Province, Fariborz Karami said, Trend reports referring to Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
The director said that of the mentioned volume, 3.93 million tons were transported from the Kermanshah County of the province.
Karami added that cement, urea, polyethylene, sugar beet, diesel, mazut, compressed soybeans and others were the main goods transported from the province in 8 months.
“Thus, the volume of cement transported from Kermanshah Province for the reporting period amounted to 1.17 million tons,” he noted.
According to the official, 21,080 pick-ups and 13,439 trucks are engaged in cargo transportation in the province.
