BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. The Azerbaijani representative office of international transportation and logistics company AsstrA has joined the Association of Customs Brokers and Logisticians (ACBL), Trend reports.

"Membership in the ACBL enables us to improve regional customs and logistics services, as well as our ability to interface with customs officials. This will enable AsstrA to provide more efficient and faster customs clearance for our clients' goods," head of the company's customs service in the South Caucasus region Orkhan Mahmudov commented upon joining the association.

Meanwhile, AsstrA ("Associated Traffic AG"), a Swiss international transport and logistics company founded in 1995, operates in the South Caucasus, Caspian Sea, and Central Asia, and is interested in developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR or Middle Corridor).

"Membership in ACBL means faster customs clearance of cargo for our clients, closer cooperation with customs authorities to minimize possible risks of delays or fines," he said.

AsstrA personnel also have access to the most recent changes in customs legislation in Azerbaijan and other ACBL member nations, as well as best practices, allowing them to provide qualified support to clients at all stages of the logistics process.

AsstrA offers a full range of logistical services, including door-to-door delivery throughout Azerbaijan and Georgia, as well as full customs clearance.

The company opened a representative office in Baku in 2023.
