The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced that its citizens, holding diplomatic, private and regular passports can make visa-free visits to Tajikistan, the ministry reported.
Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs, said that the ministry received a diplomatic memorandum from Tajikistan's ministry of foreign affairs, detailing the government decision to grant UAE nationals entry visa upon arriving to the Tajikistan territories.
He added that the move contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Tajikistan and to opening new avenues for growing tourism and trade between the two friendly countries.
