Malik Esenbayev, a member of the Kazakh accumulative pension fund UlarUmit Board, has been appointed an acting Chairman of the Board, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
Office term of the former chairman of the board, Gulnara Alimgazieva, was canceled on October 12 at the decision of the Fund's board of directors.
Ular Umit is a large institutional investor. Over a third of its assets are invested in stocks and bonds of corporate issuers of listing A, mortgage-backed bonds, bonds of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and deposits of second level banks.
