Kazakh President signed an order to appoint new commander of the Republican Guard, the presidential press service reported on Monday.
"Amangeldy Shabdarbayev will be appointed to the post of the Republican Guard's commander," the presidential decree said.
Earlier Shabdarbayev headed the Presidential Security Service and the National Security Committee.
