Kazakh, Belarusian Deputy FMs discuss bilateral cooperation

Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Amangeldy Zhumabayev and his Belarusian counterpart Igor Petrishenko discussed a wide range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues on Feb. 27 within the ministerial consultations, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.

Moreover, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached by Kazakh and Belarusian Presidents earlier, bilateral trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific and technical relations and interaction within CIS, the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Common Economic Space of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia.

Within the meeting, the parties paid a particular attention to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's upcoming visit to Minsk which is scheduled for 2012.

Following the consultations, Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Petrishenko was received by Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov.
