Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his Kyrgyz counterpart Almazbek Atambayev discuss bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres within a meeting on Thursday, Kazakh presidential press-service reported.
Moreover, the two countries' presidents discussed priorities of cooperation within Turkic-Speaking States' Cooperation Council.
President Atambayev is on a working visit to Kazakhstan.
Within the meeting Atambaev invited his Kazakh counterpart to visit Kyrgyzstan in August, Kyrgyz presidential press-service reported.
Kazakhstan is one of Kyrgyzstan's main trade partners and investors. The trade turnover between two countries hit $750 million in 2011. In January-April 2012, this figure increased by 34 percent compared to the same period of 2011 and amounted to $281 million.
