Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov received newly appointed ambassador of Turkey to Kazakhstan Omer Burhan Tuzel and Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Kazakhstan Lubomir Rehak in Astana on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Kazykhanov and Tuzel exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, discussed preparations for President Nursultan Nazarbayev's official visit to Turkey scheduled for October 2012.
The sides exchanged views on the results of Jubilee Session of the CICA and Fourth Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the organization's Member States, which were held in Astana.
By meeting with Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Kazakhstan Rehak on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission, Kazykhanov stressed his significant contribution to the development of the Kazakh-Slovak relations and handed over a letter of gratitude "for his merits in promoting peace, friendship and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Slovakia".
