New Kazakh Foreign Minister and former Ambassador to US Yerlan Idrissov invited US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton to visit Kazakhstan, US State Department reported.

"We had the tradition of having breakfast together, and I think it's my turn now, and I invite you to Kazakhstan for the next breakfast we have," Idriossov said at a meeting in Washington.

Within the meeting Idrissov promised to do his best to make sure that bilateral relations go from strength to strength to the benefit of two nations, Central Asian region, and the entire world.

Clinton in turn said the US is interested in development of bilateral cooperation.

"We are working across a broad range of issues together, and I think it speaks...to both countries' desire to deepen and strengthen our relationship. We view Kazakhstan as not just a regional presence but a global leader," Clinton said.
