Altay Abibullayev was appointed to the position of the Official representative of Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan (CCS), the press service of the CCS reported.

"Altay Abibullayev is appointed as the Official Representative of CCS under President of Kazakhstan," a statement said on Wednesday.

The CCS was established by order of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev to improve transparency in the activity of Kazakh state agencies and provide a greater public awareness of the governmental work.

According to the press service, the official representative of the CCS under the President will hold regular briefings for Kazakh and foreign mass media.

Altay Abibullayev was born in 1974, he is a Master of International Relations at University of Warsaw, Faculty of Journalism and Political Science. He has served in the foreign policy system since 1997, held the position of Advisor at the Kazakh Embassy to Poland and Austria, as well as at the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the International Organizations in Vienna.

Prior to his appointment he served as the Chairman of the International Information Committee - the official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
