Kazakh security forces are not ready to counter terrorist and extremist threats, Kazakh Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbyaev said at the meeting of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev with the heads of law enforcement agencies on Wednesday, Kazinform reported.
According to Daulbyaev, the resonant events which happened in the recent years proved this unreadiness.
The main reasons for such a situation are lack of proper forecasting, analytical and operational work of law enforcement agencies, low training level of their staff and outmoded technical equipment, Daulbyaev said.
