Last week the Permanent Representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau to the United Nations Birganym Aitimova and Joao Soares Da Gama signed a Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations in New York, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported Friday.
During the meeting the Representative of Guinea-Bissau said that his country keeps a close watch on the achievements of Kazakhstan's foreign policy and support international initiatives launched by Kazakhstan. He also convinced of his country's interest in the establishment of bilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan, in particular in the field of tourism.
The Republic of Guinea-Bissau is a member state of the OIC.
