Kazakh Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev discussed the industrial cooperation with Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov during a working visit to Moscow, the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies said today.
"The issue of intensifying the industrial cooperation between the two countries was discussed during the meeting," the ministry said. "Moreover, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects. Among them are two projects included in the republican industrialization map. The construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2013."
The first one is a joint project of AvtoVAZ company, ASIA AUTO company and Yertis Socio- Entrepreneurial Corporation National Company for the construction of a car plant included in the Industrialization Map.
The second one is the creation of mineral fertilizer production in Zhambyl by EuroChem company. The project implementation will allow producing 1 million tons of fertilizers per year.
"According to MCC EuroChem director general Dmitry Strezhnev, the company will start constructing the company in the near future," a statement said.
