Negotiations on the construction of the Caspian Transportation System will be resumed after an agreement on the second phase of the Kashagan Field Development Project is reached, the head of the KazTransOil JSC Kairgeldy Kabyldin told Trend on Tuesday during the VIII KAZENERGY forum.
The negotiations on the Kazakhstan Caspian Transportation System will be resumed as soon as the consortium shareholders lead the development of the Kashagan Field and the government gives approval of the second phase of the project," he said.
He recalled that the Kazakhstan Caspian Transportation System was considered to focus on the second phase of the Kashagan Field Development Project.
