Kazakh Government approves plans of legislative work for 2014-2016

The Kazakh Government approved a plan on legislative work for 2014 and 2015-2016 at the session chaired by Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov on Tuesday, Kazakh Prime-Minister's web site reported.

"In general, many of the plans were previously presented - the project is approved," Akhmetov said.

According to Justice Minister Berik Imashev, 37 bills are scheduled to be developed in 2014.

"In 2014 Economy and Budget Planning Ministry will develop 10 bills, Justice Ministry and Industry and New Technologies Ministry - 5 bills each, Regional Development Ministry - 4 bills, Agriculture Ministry, Labor and Social Protection Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Environmental Protection Ministry and Finance Ministry - 2 bills each. Moreover, Education and Science Ministry, Defense Ministry and the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies will developed one bill each," he said.

According to the Minister, in 2015-2016 it is planned to develop 15 bills. In this period Economy and Budget Planning Ministry will develop 5 bills, Interior Ministry and Ministry of Health - 2 bills each, Defense Ministry, Environmental Protection Ministry, Labor Ministry, Justice Ministry, Supreme Court, Agency for Combating Economic and Corruption Crime will develop one bill each.
