Iran's nuclear program, the situation in Ukraine and the Eurasian integration will be discussion topics at the 12th Eurasian Media Forum to be held in Astana on April 24-25, the forum's organizing committee said on March 27.

Last year the forum was attended by about 600 delegates from 46 countries and was covered by over 350 local and foreign media.

As the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said, "the Eurasian Media Forum, throughout its eleven-year history, has become a unique platform for exchange of views between politicians, experts and the media community."

The president highlighted the forum's contribution to the development of Eurasian integration.

"The significance and effectiveness of a wide discussion of pressing issues of Eurasia and the world in general, increases in the conditions of globalization... Dialogue in the 21st century is an important tool for the new phenomenon of globalization, which was called by some experts as megadiplomacy," Nazarbayev said.
