Almaty's financial center development concept-2020 must be adopted by December 2014, chairman of the Kazakh National Bank Kairat Kelimbetov said at a press conference in Astana on June 2.
"A decision was made to reconsider Almaty's financial center development concept-2020," he said. "This document must be adopted by December 1, 2014."
"The Kazakh National Bank and the government will work over the document," he said.
"Moreover, the consultants of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, World Bank and the Islamic Development Bank will be involved in this work," Kelimbetov said.
