Kazakh Chamber of Entrepreneurs calls for responsibility in conduction of business

The Kazakh National Chamber of Entrepreneurs calls on the businessmen in the country to act responsibly while doing business.
Chairman of the Board of the Chamber Ablay Myrzakhmetov made the remarks in his speech at the first congress of the chamber which is being held in Astana.
"The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs calls for Kazakh entrepreneurs to be responsible while doing business, in connection with which, together with the "Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia" corporate fund national concept of corporate social responsibility of business in Kazakhstan has been developed for the first time in the CIS," he said.
At the moment, the project of conception was submitted to the government for consideration, according to Myrzakhmetov.
"A draft Code of Honor of the entrepreneurs that contains fundamental principles of doing business in Kazakhstan has also been prepared," he added.
The first session of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan is held with participation of Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Timur Kulibayev.
In total, the congress brings together 300 participants, including representatives of regional councils and chambers of entrepreneurs, industry associations, government agencies, NGOs and the business community.
