Office of Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan opened in Kyrgyzstan

An office of Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan was opened in Kyrgyzstan, said the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry's website Dec.4.
Director of the Department of Consular Service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Arslanbek Umetaliev Dec. 3 presented an exequatur (document certifying recognition of the consul by the host state) to the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in the Talas region Sabyr Jumabekov.
"Opening of an office of Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic will promote the development of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan," said the statement.
The ministry said that Jumabekov currently manages the Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of Kyrgyzstan.
He is also admitted to the implementation of consular functions in the consular district, which includes the Talas region, with headquarters in the city of Talas on the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan, according to the ministry of foreign affairs.
