Kazakhstan's external debt decreased to $155.6 billion in January-September 2015, said the Kazakh National Bank on its website March 2.
As of early 2015, Kazakhstan's external debt was $157.4 billion.
Some $8.6 billion out of the total external debt accounted for banking sector, and $11.2 billion for the public sector's external debt.
The remaining part of the total external debt accounted for other direct investment sectors (the so-called inter-company debt worth $81.6 billion) and to the debt to non-affiliated non-residents ($54.2 billion).
