Kazakhstan appoints first vice-minister responsible for industry

Kazakh government appointed Alik Aydarbayev as the first vice-minister for investments and development.
Aydarbayev will be responsible for industry, the Investments and Development Ministry said in a message March 16.
In 2013-2017, Aydarbayev headed oil-rich Mangistau region in Kazakhstan’s southwest.
Previously he served on high positions in Kazakh oil companies, and, in particular, at KazMunaiGas Exploration Production Company.
