Kazakhstan’s National Atomic Company Kazatomprom said on its website that it announces an open tender for sale of 40 percent of its stake in Caustic JSC.
The starting price requested for the 40 percent stake is 4.088 billion tenges ($11.89 million as of Oct. 6).
Acceptance of applications for the tender starts Oct. 6 and will end Nov. 6 at 15:00 (GMT +6).
Caustic JSC produces caustic soda (30,000 tons per year), liquid chlorine (26,000 tons per year), hydrochloric acid (45,000 tons per year) and sodium hypochlorite (6,600 tons per year).
