Kazakhstan and China signed a protocol on the requirements for the export of beef from Kazakhstan to China, the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture said in a message June 27.
The corresponding agreement was signed between the veterinary services of Kazakhstan and China on the sidelines of the 86th General Session of the World Organization for Animal Health.
Moreover, Kazakhstan’s veterinary service held a number of bilateral meetings with the main veterinarians of Iran, Turkey, Israel and Japan.
According to the message, Kazakh and Chinese officials discussed the issues related to the export of livestock products from Kazakhstan to foreign markets.
The veterinary certificates for the export of beef and live cattle from Kazakhstan to Iran have also been agreed on.
Moreover, during the meeting, the Association of Meat Producers and Processors of France expressed interest in creation of meat processing enterprises in Kazakhstan with further export of products to the markets of Russia and China.
