Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan will allocate an additional 50,000 tons of subsidized diesel fuel to a number of regions for harvests, Minister of Agriculture Umirzak Shukeyev said at a government meeting Sept. 25.

"Governorates have raised this issue in connection with the weather conditions. According to the schedule, 394,400 tons of diesel fuel were allocated for sowing and harvesting this year at the price of 164 tenge per liter," Shukeyev said.

The minister said 14,000 tons of diesel fuel will be allocated to Akmola region, 5,000 tons – to East Kazakhstan region, 2,000 tons – to Karaganda region, 13,000 tons – to Kostanay region, 2,000 tons – to Pavlodar region, 14,000 tons – to North Kazakhstan region.
