The runway of the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport will be temporarily closed in September 2019, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the airport.
Thus, according to the information, from September 13 to September 30 of this year, the runway of the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport is closed for maintenance from 09.00 to 13.00, except on September 23 and 24.
“All the airlines are informed about the upcoming repair. In this regard, the departure and arrival times of international and domestic flights falling within this period of time (from 09:00 to 13:00) will be rescheduled for another nearest time,” the report said.
The airport was founded in 1931 as small-size airport for handling small aircrafts. Nowadays it’s one of the most modern airports on the Eurasian continent. There are about 80 flights every day to neighboring countries and beyond.
Airport renders services for more than 20 airlines, which perform regularly passenger flights to CIS and non-CIS states.
