Various routes for the export of Kazakh oil are being considered, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Akchulakov said, Trend reports citing the ministry.

While answering reporters' questions, Akchulakov noted that a decline in oil exports is not expected in Kazakhstan. According to the minister, different routes for the Kazakh oil export are addressed.

“Earlier, we had an extensive export system, including China and Europe. There are no sanctions so far, so we are not looking at redirecting any volumes somewhere. We will keep working as we agreed, via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), and through Samara. We also have other possibilities, such as the port of Aktau, and the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS). However, they are not considered yet. We are looking optionally, but continue to work as agreed,” he said.

"Meanwhile, Bolat Akchulakov noted that production was primarily affected by the possibility to sell oil. It is clear that if there is an opportunity to sell, there is no difficulty. The plan, we have laid down at 87.5 million tons, can be extracted due to the existing infrastructure," stated Bolat Akchulakov.
