BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Kazakh agricultural producers are provided with easy-term loans for spring sowing under the Ken Dala program in the amount of 70 billion tenge ($137.6 million) and forward purchases of the Food Corporation in the amount of 80 billion tenge ($157.3 million), Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeyev said, Trend reports citing the Government of Kazakhstan.

Thereat forward purchases doubled in 2022. As of March 17, the Ken Dala applications in the amount of 94.8 billion tenge ($186.3 million) were received, out of which 46.6 billion tenge ($91.6 million) had been funded.

Thus, the allocated first two tranches of credit resources have almost been fully implemented. The Food Corporation received requests worth over 76 billion tenge ($149.4 million), 52.5 billion tenge ($103.2 million) of which was financed.

Furthermore, the issue of increasing funding for spring field and harvesting work by an additional 70 billion tenge ($137.6 million), and bringing the total budget credit to 140 billion tenge ($275.3 million) is currently being considered.
