BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. Kazakhstan's National Security Committee detained a group of people, including a citizen of a foreign state on suspicion of espionage, treason, illegal collection, and disclosure of state secrets, Trend reports citing the Kazakh National Security Committee.
Criminal cases were initiated under part 1 of article 175 (high treason), article 176 (espionage), and part 3 of article 185 (illegal collection and disclosure of state secrets) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The investigating court in relation to this group of persons chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
Criminal cases are classified as "Secret", and therefore, other information in the interests of the investigation is not disclosed.
