BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Exchange trading in oil products (gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, also road bitumen) will be resumed this month in Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh Energy Ministry.

The schedule for the supply of petroleum products for May has already been approved and published on the ministry’s official website.

According to the schedule, the share of sales of light oil products is 10 percent of the total volume. At the same time, members of country's Exchange Committee recommend increasing this figure to 30 percent.

Some changes have been made to Recommendations (sectional rules): for the wholesale realization of petroleum products through commodity exchanges, in terms of requirements for participants in exchange trading, for the sale of bitumen, and for its buyers.

Exchange trading participants must have at least two years of experience in the oil products market and also be continuously registered for value-added tax (VAT) at one legal address for at least two years.
