BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. The information system for accounting of oil and gas condensate has been put into commercial operation, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Some 25 oil-producing institutions, four oil tanker companies, and three oil refineries have already been linked to the system. Connecting the remaining mining companies to the system is currently underway.

The activities on establishment and implementation of the information system was carried out under the leadership of the country's Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry within the Digital Kazakhstan state program and the national project 'Technological breakthrough due to digitalization, science, and innovation'.

The information system automates data collection during the preparation, processing, and transportation of oil. Data transfer is carried out in automatic mode.

Key indicators of implementing the mentioned system:

- support for making managerial decisions at the state level based on operational data;

- forecasting the turnover of crude oil and gas condensate;

- automated reporting based on obtained metering data.

In addition, automated data collection from metering devices will allow subsoil users to reduce the expenditures of submitting daily manual reportings, as well as minimize the risks of incorrect data entry due to excluding the human factor.
