BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Exports of Kazakhstan in value reached $34.2 billion from January through May, 2022, which is an increase of 37.2 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports via the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.
During this period, Kazakhstan increased exports to such countries as Georgia ($90.2 million), Canada ($343.5 million), Morocco ($124.1 million), South Korea ($1.7 billion), Japan ($418.9 million), and Turkiye ($2.1 billion).
According to the ministry, as part of the development of non-commodity exports, Kazakh exporters are offered measures to provide financial support through reimbursement of part of the costs, insurance, guarantees and subsidies, as well as through non-financial instruments, support programs, developing services with high export potential, adopting new national standards that meet international safety and quality requirements.
As part of the state export acceleration program, it is planned to promote Kazakh products to Russia, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Azerbaijan.
