BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. The average yield of agricultural crops in Kazakhstan is 14,6 quintals per hectare, Trend reports via the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeyev said that as a part of the work to provide farm animals with feed, the cultivation area for feed crops was increased by 448,100 hectares, funds were allocated to subsidize the purchase of feed, and the authorized capital of the Food Corporation for the purchase of feed grain was increased, quotas for the export of wheat from the territory of Kazakhstan were extended until October 1.

In addition, a roadmap for the development of the feed industry for 2022-2025, which contains systematic measures for each region, has been developed and approved,

Karashukeyev also reported that mass harvesting has begun in all of Kazakhstan's regions. To date, a total of 2.2 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested (13.9 percent), with an average yield of 14.6 quintals per hectare, and 3.3 million tons of grain have been harvested. The total harvesting area of agricultural crops this year amounted to 23.4 million hectares, which is 387,100 hectares more than in 2021.

The expected volume of the gross grain harvest, taking into account the shifting balances, is sufficient to fully meet Kazakhstan's domestic needs, as well as to the sale of certain volumes of grain for export and preserve the trading positions in traditional markets.

According to the Minister of Energy Bolat Akchulakov, 423,500 tons of diesel fuel have been allocated for autumn fieldwork this year. A total of 106,600 tons were shipped in July, 148,200 tons were paid for, and 87,400 tons were shipped in August.

The supply of diesel fuel to agricultural producers from oil refineries is carried out on a priority basis. Depending on the region, prices for them are 15-25 percent lower than retail prices.
