BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 693,186 kg over the period from January through August 2022, which is 9.1 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 77,760 kg in August 2022, which is 8.3 percent more than in August 2021.
Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 13.4 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 82,767 kg (10,216 kg in August 2022, a decrease of 1.2 percent compared to August 2021).
Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 1.1 million tons during the reporting period, which indicates an increase of 4.9 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 140,175 tons in August 2022, which is 10.6 percent more than in August 2021.
Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 77,077 tons over the reporting period, which is 11.9 percent more than during the same period of 2021. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in August 2022 was 10,278 tons, which is 35.9 percent more than in August 2021.
Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 187,530 tons, which is 2.3 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (32,359 tons in August 2022, down by 15.2 percent compared to August 2021).
As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 318,769 tons, which is 22.4 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (32,359 tons in August 2022, which is 23.7 percent more than in August 2021).
Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 29,486 tons, which is 12.7 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (2,887 tons in August 2022, down by 38.7 percent compared to August 2021).
